My name is Madison (Honer) Lineberger and I am a Biomedical Science PhD Candidate at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia. My research is done at Fox Chase Cancer Center in the Cancer Epigenetics Institute in Dr. Johnathan Whetstine’s Lab.
I am a graduate from Saint Joseph’s University where I earned both my master’s and bachelors of science in biology.
My master’s thesis project focused on identifying the underlying cellular and molecular mechanisms that drive sleep behaviors in the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans.
Aside from research, I am thoroughly involved in science education outreach and participate in both teaching and outreach initiatives!
